Dear Friends of CAS,

We are pleased to invite you to a discussion with the founders of the School Colors podcast on Tuesday, March 10, from 4-6pm in our library at City-As-School. Mark Winston Griffith & Max Freedman, the podcast founders and hosts, will join us for a discussion focused on race, class and equity in education moderated by Natasha Capers of the Coalition for Educational Justice. The event will be co-hosted by BMCC and include student moderators.

School Colors is a “narrative podcast that shows how race, class, and power shape American cities and schools” by following “generations of parents and educators fighting for their children and their community in a rapidly changing Black neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York.”

Please use the Eventbrite invitation linked here to register and to extend this invitation to your colleagues. Refreshments will be provided thanks to our partners, NYEdge.
